RED AND WHITE EVENING

The behaviour of Mondial du Théâtre must be made profitable to present and highlight the extraordinary cultural activity of the Principality and the significant efforts devoted by the Princely Government for, not only to promote demonstrations of foreground, but also for the awakening and the practice with the daily newspaper.

Thus the various last editions of the World Festival of the Theatre Amateur were the occasion, in front of a cosmopolitan floor of more than forty different nationalities, to produce a representation of the Ballets of Assembles-Carlo, a concert of the Brass band of S.A.S the Prince, to make visit the exposure of China of the first Emperor, etc.

For the next edition, it appeared interesting to show to our visitors, that the theatrical activity is long-lived in Monaco and that talents can be expressed there. For this purpose, the World one of the Theatre proposes to produce a spectacle implementing the resources of the various companies of theatre working in Principality:

who would work thus on a joint project and fully shared. For the realization of this spectacle, the recourse to a professional director appeared essential, in particular taking into account the short times of its development. This mission was entrusted to Mr. Yves CARLEVARIS, of nationality Monegasque, former member of the Studio of Monaco, which continues a brilliant career of actor and director, in Paris.

The performance will be given, at the time of the "Red and White" evening, of the semi-festival, August 1, 2005.
