Colloques

Organisation Daily session every morning from 9.30 a.m to 12.00 a.m,
on 29th, 30th, 31st July and on 1st, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6 th August 2005
.
Purpose
By assembling festival-goers and members of the 3 companies having performed the night before, these meetings aim at exchanging information on the working methods of these companies, in relation to theatre practises of their own countries. Public participation is most welcome.

Oslin Boekhoudt , member of Iata/Aita Centre in Aruba.

Artistic goals and aims of the company
Company life and organisation
Creation process of the company
Cultural context in which the company lives in its own country
Relations of the company with the National Centre of IATA/AITA as well as on international level.

Workshops

Organisation

3 workshops, with 4 sessions lasting 2h30, will be scheduled on 29 th , 30 th , 31 st July and 1 st , 3 rd , 4 th , 5 th and 6 th August in the afternoons, from 2.30 p.m to 5.00 p.m. Each workshop is independent from the others in order to enable festival-goers to fully participate.

Purpose
Animated by Professors and Directors of repute, these high quality workshops, aim at offering to amateurs worldwide, a specific thematic teaching.

Topics and Directors

Workshop n° 1 : « The actor's work according to the Stanislavski method » directed by Michaïl Choumenchenko, Vice-President of the Russian National Centre and theatre professor in Moscow.

Workshop n° 2 : « Improvisation – an instrument for multicultural performances », directed by Guy Van Sande, stage-director and theatre professor in Antwerp.

Workshop n° 3 : «Physical and sensorial approach of the actor's deportment» directed by Agusta Skuladottir, stage-director and theatre professor in Reykjavik.
